Angat Bayanihan Meeting Registration

Ngayong araw, nilulunsad namin ang #AngatBayanihan — ito ang ating VOLUNTEER PROGRAM sa Angat Buhay kung saan puwede kayong mag-ambag ng oras, talento, o kahit anong tulong para sa agarang pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan.  Dito, puwede kang magsagawa ng iba’t ibang klase ng paglapit at pagtulong sa kapwa, lalo na para doon sa mga nakilala natin sa ating mga pag-iikot sa iba’t ibang parte ng Pilipinas.  Ilang halimbawa ng pagbabayanihan sa pamamagitan ng Angat Buhay ang agarang pagkilos ng volunteer groups sa Abra at Ilocos provinces na tumugon sa pangangailangan ng mga nasalanta ng lindol. Bago pa man iyan, nagsagawa rin ng relief operations ang ating magigiting na volunteers para sa apektado ng Banaue landslides. Nariyan din ang mga kabataan sa Maynila na magsasagawa ng kanilang medical mission sa komunidad. STATEMENT ON THE SHAMELESS REDTAGGING AND BASELESS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST ANGAT BUHAY

We strongly condemn and unequivocally deny the allegations made by Lorraine Badoy against Angat Buhay last 04 July 2022 in a cable television program. Her claims are utterly baseless and completely false, and worse, encourage the harassment of our staff members, volunteers, and partners.

As soon as our attention was called to the matter, we referred the same to our lawyers who are now in the process of preparing possible legal actions to protect the integrity of our organization and our work and, more so, to protect our volunteers and partners.

To our friends and supporters, rest assured that we are not taking this sitting down. We will not allow these efforts to sabotage our work to prosper. The time to stand up to fake news and hold its purveyors to account is now. As with our Chairperson, former Vice President Leni Robredo, our word is our bond. Thank you for standing with us.

We will continue our work as a private, non-government organization to empower marginalized communities and sectors. Our work is beyond personalities and politics. Our work is about fundamental values. Our work is about leaving no one behind.

Bakit Uto-Uto ang mga Pulahan?

Yung tipong habang tumitingin ka sa feed mo may nakita kang nag-share ng mga conspiracy theory. Bakit ba naeenganyo sila? Paniwalang paniwala sila. Basahin ang maikling kasagutan tungkol dito. It makes them feel special and different. It gives them a feeling of being better than others, of having their eyes opened to a 'truth' that others don't see. That's why some call non-believers 'sheeple.' I think it's similar to the feeling we get whenever we learn an obscure yet interesting piece of trivia. The thought of "No one else knows it!" I also think conspiracies appeal to the way humans think, especially now. A desire to search for patterns. There has to be reason and purpose for anything. But this is not right! I still blame the lack of the fundamental research skills that needs to be taught in school. I believe you get to have a full subject on your 4th year, but investigative skills and fact checking should be honed at a young age.

'Di kami nagkamali, we already expected those things to happen... You're making fun of our opinions pero 'di niyo magets na para 'yun sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Now, why so sudden bigla kayong nagreklamo? eh diba ginusto niyo 'yan, honestly dito samin nagsasabing nagsisisi sila sa naboto nila, for me hindi na kasalanan ng mga politiko na naloko nila kayo dahil there are so many evidences na.
