Angat Buhay team met with the Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), and the Makati Business Club (MBC)
Ngayong araw, nakipagpulong ang Angat Buhay team sa Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), at Makati Business Club, Inc. (MBC) para talakayin kung paano tayo makikibahagi sa inilunsad nilang Shared Prosperity Through a People-Centered Agenda for Nutrition and Education.
Nakasama natin ngayong hapon sina PBSP president Rey Laguda at executive director Elvin Uy; MBC executive director Coco Alcuaz; PBEd deputy executive director Diane Fajardo, policy and advocacy manager Marco de los Reyes, at Hanibal Camua ng YouthWorks PH.

Today, the Angat Buhay team met with the Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), and the Makati Business Club (MBC) to explore how we can contribute to their Shared Prosperity through a People-centered Agenda for Nutrition and Education.
The Shared Prosperity Agenda focuses on nutrition and education, two advocacy areas that Angat Buhay shares. During the meeting, the organizations exchanged best practices, ongoing projects, and possible solutions to the prevailing gaps.
Angat Buhay chairperson Atty. Leni Robredo underscored the importance of urgent action, particularly to address the country’s education crisis. She reiterated that a drastic shift in perspective is required to fill in the gaps, which will be possible through a proactive collaboration among various stakeholders and government.
Angat Buhay has signified its commitment to contribute to the goals of the agenda, starting with an alignment in existing programs.
Joining the Angat Buhay team this afternoon were PBSP president Rey Laguda and executive director Elvin Uy; MBC executive director Coco Alcuaz; PBEd deputy executive director Diane Fajardo, policy and advocacy manager Marco de los Reyes, and Hanibal Camua of YouthWorksPH.
