Ginusto Niyo 'Yan!

'Di kami nagkamali, we already expected those things to happen... You're making fun of our opinions pero 'di niyo magets na para 'yun sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Now, why so sudden bigla kayong nagreklamo? eh diba ginusto niyo 'yan, honestly dito samin nagsasabing nagsisisi sila sa naboto nila, for me hindi na kasalanan ng mga politiko na naloko nila kayo dahil there are so many evidences na. Pero all of you still chose to be fooled and deceived by them. But it's too late na eh nakaupo na sila sa pwesto na hindi nila deserve. Pero ito na lang... Let our response be, GINUSTO NIYO 'YAN!

Angat Buhay team met with the Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), and the Makati Business Club (MBC)

Ngayong araw, nakipagpulong ang Angat Buhay team sa Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), at Makati Business Club, Inc. (MBC) para talakayin kung paano tayo makikibahagi sa inilunsad nilang Shared Prosperity Through a People-Centered Agenda for Nutrition and Education.

How to fight Historical Revisionism?

Just a background, we recently held our elections and the person who won was the son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos. Now I am not a historian myself, but all I know is that he stole money in his time as president while also killing and torturing thousands of people when he declared Martial Law.  Don’t take my word for it, but I believe one of the reasons he won is disinformation. Tiktok, Facebook, and Youtube was used to give alternative views on history - such as them being framed, them being rich prior to joining politics, but most importantly the Marcos Era being referred to as a golden era in the Philippines. Right now there are news circulating that some books pertaining to Martial Law should be banned. I participated in fact-checking and fighting disinformation during the campaign season but it seems like the alternative history has already prevailed. It’s concerning that a lot of people now refer to TikTok and other platforms for their sources of history, and

Bakit ba naeenganyo sila? Paniwalang paniwala sila. Basahin ang maikling kasagutan tungkol dito. It makes them feel special and different. It gives them a feeling of being better than others, of having their eyes opened to a 'truth' that others don't see. That's why some call non-believers 'sheeple.' I think it's similar to the feeling we get whenever we learn an obscure yet interesting piece of trivia. The thought of "No one else knows it!" I also think conspiracies appeal to the way humans think, especially now. A desire to search for patterns. There has to be reason and purpose for anything. But this is not right! I still blame the lack of the fundamental research skills that needs to be taught in school. I believe you get to have a full subject on your 4th year, but investigative skills and fact checking should be honed at a young age.

P A A L A M  SA   L A H A T . . . . . . . . STATEMENT ON THE SHAMELESS REDTAGGING AND BASELESS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST ANGAT BUHAY

STATEMENT ON THE SHAMELESS REDTAGGING AND BASELESS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST ANGAT BUHAY We strongly condemn and unequivocally deny the allegations made by Lorraine Badoy against Angat Buhay last 04 July 2022 in a cable television program. Her claims are utterly baseless and completely false, and worse, encourage the harassment of our staff members, volunteers, and partners. As soon as our attention was called to the matter, we referred the same to our lawyers who are now in the process of preparing possible legal actions to protect the integrity of our organization and our work and, more so, to protect our volunteers and partners. To our friends and supporters, rest assured that we are not taking this sitting down. We will not allow these efforts to sabotage our work to prosper. The time to stand up to fake news and hold its purveyors to account is now. As with our Chairperson, former Vice President Leni Robredo, our word is our bond. Thank you for standing with us. We will continue our wor

Angat Puso, Angat Buhay, Angat Pilipinas

Kahapon, sumakay ako sa padyak pauwi. Yung driver, 64 years old pero siguro sa hirap ng buhay, mukha na siyang 80. Kaya napatanong ako sa edad. At 40 years na siyang nagpapadyak.

Angat Buhay NGO

Angat Buhay aims to bring together the public and private sectors—organizations and individuals alike—to address the needs of families in the country’s farthest and poorest communities. Angat Buhay reaches out to these areas by working with partners in providing interventions and mobilizing support through its key advocacy areas: food security and nutrition, universal healthcare, public education, and disaster relief and rehabilitation. As there is no single way to solve poverty in a community, Angat Buhay capacitates key sectors by empowering them to actively participate in governance and development processes through various modes of engagement.

W.H.O. ISSUES WARNING ON NEW EPIDEMIC CALLED ‘BEING FILIPINO’

Photo and content grabbed from official FB page: https://www.facebook.com/PhDailySun/ According to the World Health Organization, Being Filipino is a serious condition and at least 100 million people are already affected by it. Being Filipino is a sexually transmitted disease with an incubation period of about 9 months. Symptoms of Being Filipino range from mild to deadly. These include blindness, muteness, hunger, delusions, worms in the brain, and many more. Doctors recommend a daily dose of Dolomite sand to help relieve these symptoms. Scientists have found that the cause of these symptoms is an underlying condition called ‘Bad Leadership’ which is hereditary in the Philippines, usually from fathers to their children. This is a satire post. 😁 Source: Philippine Daily Sun

Rappler shutdown a threat to press freedom – Hontiveros

On SEC’s order to shut down Rappler: It is truly deplorable that this administration continues to find new ways of threatening legitimate news organizations not to exercise press freedom. And while many registered news outfits are being crushed, unaccountable and insensitive vloggers and internet journalists have been given accreditation to cover the most important events in government. This only sows distrust and cultivates a tame coverage. We need critical, honest, and facts-based journalism. I will always fight for freedom of the press. Silencing important media voices like Rappler, and ABS-CBN before it, not only affects the flow of information for the day. These assaults on independent press and other perceived “threats” also chip away at our democracy. – Senator Risa Hontiveros

Firm but with a Heart

πŸ™‚ Mr. Jonathan Jacob, “Jon” as we fondly call him, already has an experience being an OIC/Supervisor from his previous work for 7 years; his expertise was shown as he joined the company in year 2018 as a Customer Care Specialist. Being new to the field, he never hesitated to take on more tasks; he is responsible, loyal, and is always willing to help out his colleagues at work. He is firm but with a heart. With so much dedication and passion for work, we know he can handle more responsibilities!

June 30 is Kakampink Day

Kulay Rosas Na Bukas

Isang Pasasalamat

Sabi nila: “There’s always something to be thankful for.” Kaya ako din may sasabihin! 🀣✌️ Isang pasasalamat!

Chances

My last relationship taught me that the more chances you give someone, the less they value you. They’re not afraid to lose you because they know no matter what, you won’t walk away. Never let someone get too comfortable with disrespecting you.

Blogging for 17 Years and Beyond

History is like tsismis – Ella Cruz

History is like tsismis. It is filtered and dagdag na rin, so hindi natin alam what is the real history. 🀷🏻‍♀️
