Call for scholarship to the DICT digitaljobsPH training project

TACLOBAN CITY, Sept. 17 -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is implementing the digitaljobsPH Program which is intended to create meaningful ICT-enabled jobs in socio-economically disadvantaged areas in the country.

The project specifically focuses on areas where there is high population but low employment due to lack of investors. It also aims to promote ICT-enabled jobs as a high-value economic activity in rural communities that are not yet ready to host Information Technology – Business Process Management (IT-BPM) operations.

Even before the pandemic, the DICT has been implementing the digitaljobsPH Training (DJT) to be able to help address unemployment in the country and support more Filipinos in the countryside to gain employment through the online freelancing industry. The training primarily aims to increase people’s hireability by focusing on the development and improvement of their ICT skills and utilize it for employment opportunities.

This project is in partnership with the Local Government Units and is still accepting applicants for its upcoming training. Please check out the selected locations in your area and the details on the link provided below to see if you may qualify.

Kung narito ka ngayon. Marahil ay isa ka sa mga napadpad o mas magandang sabihin ay isa ka sa marites na nakatambay sa page ng mga kakampinks.
