TESDA offers free training for contact tracers

QUEZON CITY, Aug. 19 (PIA) -- The Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) and the Human Resource Development of the Department of Health (DOH-HHRDB) is currently developing the online competency standards for TESDA’s Contact Tracing Training Program.

The program targeted to be offered for free by September 2020 to all interested contact tracers will run for 15 days and will be implemented in a blended learning modality. It is expected to produce individuals with 21st century skills and compliant to the existing industry standards.

“We also want to provide world-class and competent human resources for contact tracing and at the same time, ensure that the education and training providers shall deliver the programs in accordance with our competency standards as required by our health sector” TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapeña said.

Pagbati sa mga itinalagang board members ng Angat Buhay na magsisilbing gabay at haligi ng organisasyon! Magsisilbing Chairperson ng Angat Buhay NGO si Atty. Leni Robredo; habang tatayo namang bilang President si Philip Francisco Dy. Si Raphael Martin Magno naman ang tatayong Executive Director ng organisasyon. Kabilang sa mga members of the board sina: Atty. Jose Christopher Belmonte; Joanne Baylon; Judith Azarcon-Marquez; Garrie David; Max Ventura; Rafael Lopa; at Raphael Martin Magno (Ex-officio). Tatayong Board Secretary si Atty Stella Pastores-Esquivas, at Board Treasurer naman si Camille Genuino.
