PNP to implement 'No Face Shield, No Entry' policy at Camp Crame HQ

PASIG CITY, August 16 (PIA) -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to implement a "No Face Shield, No Entry" policy to all police personnel, civilian employees, and visitors at its National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City starting Monday, August 17, 2020. 

According to the PNP, Deputy Chief for Administration PLtGen Camilo Cascolan has tapped the PNP’s Headquarters Support Service (HSS) to implement the new directive due to growing number of COVID-19 cases.

"We appeal to all to observe health protocols for the sake of everyone's safety against the contagion," Cascolan said.

Meanwhile, PNP-HSS director PBGen Alexander Sampaga released an advisory on the curfew hours inside the camp, from 10:00 p.m to 5:00 a.m., except for PNP personnel on duty.

The PNP-HSS also advised offices and units utilizing the NHQ North Wing Parking Area, near AFPSLAI, to transfer to the PNP Transformation Oval Parking Area.

The PNP Heath Service also established a Daily Triage Area for PNP personnel located at the North Wing Parking Area inside Camp Crame effective August 15.

As of August 13, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the PNP organization reached 2,757 cases with 13 deaths and 1,826 recoveries.(PIA-NCR)

Pagbati sa mga itinalagang board members ng Angat Buhay na magsisilbing gabay at haligi ng organisasyon! Magsisilbing Chairperson ng Angat Buhay NGO si Atty. Leni Robredo; habang tatayo namang bilang President si Philip Francisco Dy. Si Raphael Martin Magno naman ang tatayong Executive Director ng organisasyon.
