Why are Filipinos known for their lack of reading comprehension?

Because according to most of them: "Well-mannered is better than well-educated" That's why most of the Filipinos never progress. It is because of the trash mindset.

No quarantine for 3-day essential travels, says Camiguin guv

CAMIGUIN, Aug. 7 (PIA)--Allowing essential or emergency travel among its residents to other areas, Gov. Jurdin Jesus Romualdo said there will be no mandatory 14-day quarantine imposed for their three-day stay in their destination, given that they do not manifest signs and symptoms of coronavirus disease (COVID)-19.

In a live video feed, August 6, Romualdo said those who exceeded from the allowable days will be required to undergo the 14-day quarantine in the province's isolation units.

Through the province's health card, an individual's history of travel or possible COVID-19 exposure will be monitored by the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTS).

"Ayaw pagkuha ug tiket kung wala ka pa'y acceptance sa lungsod, barangay o probinsya. Except kung Hatid Tulong ka (Do not purchase a ticket [going to Camiguin] if you have not yet secured a certificate of acceptance from the municipality, barangay or province unless you are part of the Hatid Tulong program)," Romualdo said citing the protocol for those who wish to return to the province.

Other proposed measures

Romualdo said the province through Rep. Xavier Jesus Romualdo requests for an inclusion of reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing provision as a tourist destination identified by the Department of Tourism (DOT).

The governor said they will temporarily use the space for dialysis in the province’s hospital for the RT-PCR testing. He however stressed that the dialysis facility will still be pursued.

Medical technologists from Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) and Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) will be tapped to train the staff in the proposed RT-PCR testing laboratory in Camiguin.

Also, with an augmented police personnel in the province, Romualdo said it is now easier to monitor compliance on the minimum public health standards and further contain the spread of COVID-19 in the province.

As of August 5, the province has recorded 1 confirmed COVID-19 case from Mahinog along with 299 persons with history of travel or possible COVID-19 exposure, of which 170 are from Mambajao, 69 from Mahinog, 9 from Guinsiliban, 21 from Sagay, and 30 from Catarman. The asymptomatic confirmed case, a locally stranded individual from Talisay, Cebu, is currently placed at the municipal isolation unit. (RTP/PIA10)

How To Make A Country Worship You

Bakit ba naeenganyo sila? Paniwalang paniwala sila. Basahin ang maikling kasagutan tungkol dito. It makes them feel special and different. It gives them a feeling of being better than others, of having their eyes opened to a 'truth' that others don't see. That's why some call non-believers 'sheeple.' I think it's similar to the feeling we get whenever we learn an obscure yet interesting piece of trivia. The thought of "No one else knows it!" I also think conspiracies appeal to the way humans think, especially now. A desire to search for patterns. There has to be reason and purpose for anything. But this is not right! I still blame the lack of the fundamental research skills that needs to be taught in school. I believe you get to have a full subject on your 4th year, but investigative skills and fact checking should be honed at a young age.

Ginusto Niyo 'Yan!

'Di kami nagkamali, we already expected those things to happen... You're making fun of our opinions pero 'di niyo magets na para 'yun sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Now, why so sudden bigla kayong nagreklamo? eh diba ginusto niyo 'yan, honestly dito samin nagsasabing nagsisisi sila sa naboto nila, for me hindi na kasalanan ng mga politiko na naloko nila kayo dahil there are so many evidences na. Pero all of you still chose to be fooled and deceived by them. But it's too late na eh nakaupo na sila sa pwesto na hindi nila deserve. Pero ito na lang... Let our response be, GINUSTO NIYO 'YAN!
