Why are Filipinos known for their lack of reading comprehension?

Because according to most of them: "Well-mannered is better than well-educated" That's why most of the Filipinos never progress. It is because of the trash mindset.

DOH 11 in need of more medical staff

DAVAO CITY, August 2 (PIA) – The Department of Health Davao Center for Health Development (DOH DCHD) is in need of additional doctors and nurses to operate hospitals and Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMF).

This increased need for additional medical health professionals in the Davao Region is brought about by additional health facilities or Local Government Unit (LGU) designated areas to be used as TTMF for COVID-19 cases as well as the expansion of designated COVID-19 treatment facilities in the Region.

The Assistant Regional Director for the DOH DCHD Dr. Lenny Joy Rivera discussed how local medical facilities can expand the number of COVID-19 wards and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds as well as TTMFs for the treatment of patients but there is not enough medical staff to manage the said facilities.

“If medical facilities will expand, the problem that we have is who will take care [of COVID-19 patients] and manage the facilities,” Dr. Rivera said.

Currently, the DOH DCHD reports that there are ample resources to employ additional medical staff but they are observing that there is a minimal response when it comes to interested medical health professionals who wish to apply.

“We have job openings available and ample budget for salary but the problem is that there is a shortage of interested applicants for available positions,” Dr. Rivera added.

Dr. Rivera discussed that the DOH XI is open for more applicants to be able to properly manage and facilitate the expansion of COVID-19 facilities and to help address the possible surge of COVID-19 cases in the Davao Region.

“If there are doctors and nurses who want to help, the DOH is regularly posting on social media and announcing at our pressers that we are accepting applicants for doctors, and nurses to man our TTMFs and hospitals,” Dr. Rivera said. (KPLCaro/PIA XI)

Bakit ba naeenganyo sila? Paniwalang paniwala sila. Basahin ang maikling kasagutan tungkol dito. It makes them feel special and different. It gives them a feeling of being better than others, of having their eyes opened to a 'truth' that others don't see. That's why some call non-believers 'sheeple.' I think it's similar to the feeling we get whenever we learn an obscure yet interesting piece of trivia. The thought of "No one else knows it!" I also think conspiracies appeal to the way humans think, especially now. A desire to search for patterns. There has to be reason and purpose for anything. But this is not right! I still blame the lack of the fundamental research skills that needs to be taught in school. I believe you get to have a full subject on your 4th year, but investigative skills and fact checking should be honed at a young age.

How To Make A Country Worship You
