P1-M illegal drugs seized in PDEA-10's buy-bust operation

MISAMIS ORIENTAL, July 13 - Joint operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency region 10 (PDEA -10), Iligan/Lanao del Norte Police Office and Misamis Oriental Police Office conducted a buy-bust operation at Purok 2, Bonifacio St. Alubijid Misamis Oriental on July 11, 2020 which resulted to the successful arrest of two drug personalities and the confiscation of an estimated P1, 394,000 worth of shabu.

The arrested suspects were identified as Abeth Gabriel Samoa, 36, male, married and a resident of Kalangnan Lower Pantar, Lanao del Norte and Isaac Eguana Codilla Jr., 39, male, married and a resident of Purok 4, Barinaut, Iligan City.

Both are known drug personalities and source of illegal drugs of drug pushers in the region.

Further, pieces of drug evidence were forwarded to PDEA-10 Laboratory Office for qualitative and quantitative examination while the arrested suspects were temporarily detained at PDEA-10 detention facility for booking and documentation.

Moreover, a case for violation of RA 9165 was being prepared for filing in court against the suspects. (PDEA-10)
