Why are Filipinos known for their lack of reading comprehension?

Because according to most of them: "Well-mannered is better than well-educated" That's why most of the Filipinos never progress. It is because of the trash mindset.

CEBU CITY, July 21 (PIA) -- The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office of Cebu recently completed the distribution of supplemental food packs and non-food items worth P500 per pack to 2,760 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in six cities and 36 towns.

The distribution kicked off on May 21, 2020.

The supplemental food pack included rice, canned sardines, instant noodles, and non-food items face masks, a bath soap and packets of ascorbic acid.

Officer-in-Charge Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) II of DAR Cebu and concurrent Assistant Regional Director for Operations of DAR 7, Varinia Fabillar, said this is DAR’s initiative to align the projects and activities of the department to address the COVID-19 pandemic dubbed as “The PaSSOver: ARBold Move for Deliverance of ARBs from the COVID-19 Pandemic”, which is DAR’s response to Republic Act No. 11469, otherwise known as the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.

Fabillar explained that the identified beneficiaries of the project were holders of the certificates of land ownership award (CLOAs) for year 2016-2019 under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) and another group of beneficiaries with registered leasehold contracts.

ARBold Move project is divided into four components: 1. Support to ARB Organizations (ARBOs) as Frontliners in the Food Supply Chain; 2. Farm Productivity Assistance to ARBs; 3. Livelihood Support for Women in Crisis Situation; and 4. Distribution of Relief Packs of Supplemental Food and Hygiene Kits.

DAR Cebu is now preparing to implement other project components of the ARBold Move project, assistance for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) and livelihood support for women.

Under the second component, some 865 identified ARBs will receive their starter kits for crop production scheduled for distribution later this month.

For the third component, at least 15 identified female ARBs will be provided with poultry livelihood project and scheduled for distribution on the last week of July.

Under the first component, 59 ARBOs identified under the ARBold Move Project throughout the province were assisted in the marketing of their products and provided with quarantine accreditation passes for the continuous delivery of food supply during the lockdown. (hfg/PIA7/with report from DAR 7)

Bakit ba naeenganyo sila? Paniwalang paniwala sila. Basahin ang maikling kasagutan tungkol dito. It makes them feel special and different. It gives them a feeling of being better than others, of having their eyes opened to a 'truth' that others don't see. That's why some call non-believers 'sheeple.' I think it's similar to the feeling we get whenever we learn an obscure yet interesting piece of trivia. The thought of "No one else knows it!" I also think conspiracies appeal to the way humans think, especially now. A desire to search for patterns. There has to be reason and purpose for anything. But this is not right! I still blame the lack of the fundamental research skills that needs to be taught in school. I believe you get to have a full subject on your 4th year, but investigative skills and fact checking should be honed at a young age.

How To Make A Country Worship You
