TAGBILARAN CITY, July 17 (PIA) -- The province of Bohol remains under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) until July 31, 2020.
Bohol Gov. Arthur Yap signed Executive Order No. 38 on July 15, 2020 extending the MGCQ in the province beginning July 16 until July 31, 2020.

“Magpabilin nga ipaubos ang atong lalawigan sa MGCQ. Pinaagi sa EO No. 38 nga atong gilagdaan karong adlawa, atong gi-extend ang MGCQ status sugod Hulyo 16 hangtod Hulyo 31. Daghang salamat! (Our province remains under MGCQ. Through EO No 38, which we signed today, we extended the MGQC status starting July 16 until July 31, Thank You!)," Yap said in his Facebook post on July 15, 2020.
The quarantine protocols will remain to be strictly implemented even under MGCQ.
The governor, however, still prohibits operations of bars, night clubs, KTV bar, internet shops, and cinemas.
Furthermore, cockfighting, gambling and betting activities shall continue to be prohibited, based on the EO.
The EO also stipulates that locally stranded individuals (LSIs), overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and visiting national and regional government officials who may be exempted from the effectivity of the sea and air travel ban under EO No. 8-A are enjoined to coordinate and secure the necessary clearance with the Bohol Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) before the scheduled arrival or visit in the province.
Violators of the existing protocols and other directives are punishable under Provincial Ordinance No. 2020-007. (ecb/PIA7-Bohol)
