Why are Filipinos known for their lack of reading comprehension?

Because according to most of them: "Well-mannered is better than well-educated" That's why most of the Filipinos never progress. It is because of the trash mindset.

Bacolod 'COVID' hospital gets equipment

NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, July 23 (PIA) –- The Bacolod City Respiratory Referral Center (BCRRC), a temporary designated COVID-19 hospital housed at the Bacolod Queen of Mercy Hospital, has received the needed equipment from the city government of Bacolod.

The local government of Bacolod purchased 17 hospital beds, one unit of mobile X-ray, 10 units of hand-held thermal scanner, one unit of ECG machine with standard accessories, one unit defibrillator, one unit of video laryngoscope, two units of stretchers, two units of wheelchairs, two units autoclave, 10 units of adult BP apparatus, and two units of pedia BP apparatus to be used at the BCRRC.

Bacolod City mayor Evelio Leonardia thanked Dr. Evangeline Johnson and the rest of the board and management of the Bacolod Queen of Mercy Hospital for the partnership, as well as the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod and other officials for the realization of the project.

“This increase in the bed capacity for indigent COVID patients with mild to moderate symptoms is truly a blessing for our people, coming at a time when more people are testing positive for the virus,” Leonardia said.

The city government entered in a Deed of Usufruct for the free use of such equipment by the hospital while the arrangement lasts; however, the City maintains ownership of such.

The local government of Bacolod will also provide consumable supplies such as personal protective equipment or PPEs and testing kits.

This 34-room temporary COVID-19 hospital will be for the exclusive use of indigent patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms who are referred to it by the City.

“This was to meet the urgent need for a medical facility dedicated for PUIs coming from indigent families, and to supplement the bed capacity of the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) and other private hospitals for such cases,” Leonardia added. *(LTP/EAD-PIA6 Negros Occidental)

Bakit Uto-Uto ang mga Pulahan?

Yung tipong habang tumitingin ka sa feed mo may nakita kang nag-share ng mga conspiracy theory. Bakit ba naeenganyo sila? Paniwalang paniwala sila. Basahin ang maikling kasagutan tungkol dito. It makes them feel special and different. It gives them a feeling of being better than others, of having their eyes opened to a 'truth' that others don't see. That's why some call non-believers 'sheeple.' I think it's similar to the feeling we get whenever we learn an obscure yet interesting piece of trivia. The thought of "No one else knows it!" I also think conspiracies appeal to the way humans think, especially now. A desire to search for patterns. There has to be reason and purpose for anything. But this is not right! I still blame the lack of the fundamental research skills that needs to be taught in school. I believe you get to have a full subject on your 4th year, but investigative skills and fact checking should be honed at a young age.

Para sa mga Pulahan

How To Make A Country Worship You
