NV PLGU pours P10.8-M for DepEd's Learning Continuity Plan

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, June 9 (PIA) - The provincial government here has allocated P10.8 million for the implementation of the Learning Continuity Plan for Vizcayano Learners (LCPVL) of the Department of Education (DepEd).

The Nueva Vizcaya PLGU has allocated P10.8 million for the DepEd's Learning Continuity Plan for basic education in the province. The fund is part of  the assistance of the PLGU for education under the New Normal status due to COVID-19 pandemic.# Photo from RMagday Itchon's FB Post 

Governor Carlos Padilla said the fund which was sourced from the Special Education Fund (SEF) is part of the preparation for the New Normal in eduation system due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Our basic education learners will be assisted and provided with the necessary learning equipments and channels to continue their learning process," he said.

The LCPVL will be using the modular learning system using applicable social media platforms and mass media networks among others.

Padilla said that with the PLGU assistance, DepEd will be able to fund the acquisition of 67 Smart TVs, digital cameras for blogging, 30 units Desk Top Computers, 25 Laptops, wireless microphones, 1,600 transistor radios and funding of radio block time fees and communication allowance for teachers, among others.

"This will benefit our basic education learners from kindergarten to senior high school through the DepEd," he added.

The assistance was announced during the recent meeting of the Provincial School Board(PSB).#(MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)

Pagbati sa mga itinalagang board members ng Angat Buhay na magsisilbing gabay at haligi ng organisasyon! Magsisilbing Chairperson ng Angat Buhay NGO si Atty. Leni Robredo; habang tatayo namang bilang President si Philip Francisco Dy. Si Raphael Martin Magno naman ang tatayong Executive Director ng organisasyon.
