CALOOCAN CITY, June 15 (PIA) -- Makati City Mayor Abby Binay is urging residents anew to stay home as much as possible to help curb COVID-19 local transmissions.
"Muling ipinapaalala ni Mayora Abby sa lahat ng Makatizens na manatili sa tahanan at iwasan ang paglabas kung hindi kinakailangan upang maging ligtas," the city government said in its official Facebook post.
This, amid the Makati Health Department (MHD) recording not less than 802 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city so far.
Mayor Abby is reiterating this call to prevent individuals from roaming the streets and interacting in clusters that break the physical distancing rules under existing quarantine protocols.
