MARAWI CITY, June 14 (PIA) -- Implementing health protocols in the fight against the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the  Department of Social Welfare and Development rolled out its second round distribution of P14,400 Transitory Family Support Package (TFSP) to displaced families in the most affected area of the city.

The payout of TFSP started on June 10 for homeowners from Barangay Sangcay Dansalan.

“Dinivide yung beneficiary equally, as much as possible sa target per day, Kung sino lang ang nasa listahan on the said day yun lang ang makakapasok,” said Jamila Taha, Project Development Office II and Information Officer of DSWD Region 10.

[The beneficiaries are divided equally as much as possible to the target per day. Only those who are in the list of beneficiaries are allowed to enter.]

As the beneficiaries enter the venue of distribution, they undergo thermal scanning and handwashing. They are also required to wear face masks. DSWD will also provide face mask to those who do not have them.

Taha laso shared that the number of beneficiaries being served per day has been reduced from 1,500 to 300 in order to strictly observe the health and safety protocols.

Jamilah Al-azis expressed her gratitude to DSWD and TFBM as she will be adding the assistance for her mini grocery business.

“Talagang nagpapasalamat ako sa DSWD at Task Force, kasi yung first na binigay naging puhunan ko para magkaroon ako ng mini grocery at ito na naman another addtional,” said Al-azis.

[I am really thankful to DSWD and the Task Force because I was able to put up a mini grocery business using the first cash assistance they gave us.]

Meanwhile, Faridah Busara said she has saved the cash assistance given to them in order for her to bring back her footwear business.

How To Make A Country Worship You

Why are Filipinos known for their lack of reading comprehension?

Because according to most of them: "Well-mannered is better than well-educated" That's why most of the Filipinos never progress. It is because of the trash mindset.
