DILG to hold free webinar for local govt. information officers

CALOOCAN CITY, June 11 (PIA) -- The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) will hold a free webinar series this afternoon on capacitating the role of local government public information officers amid the new normal.

In a Facebook post Wednesday evening, the DILG said it is inviting local government unit public information officers in Luzon to, "join the Webinar Series on Capacitating Public Information Officers in Local Government: The Role of the Public Information Officers under a New Normal tomorrow, June 11, 2020, from 1pm to 5pm."

The free webinar is organized in partnership with the Local Government Academy, an agency under the DILG that is responsible for human resource development and training of local government officials and department personnel.

This series' topic is, "Localizing Crisis Communication: Strategies in Enhancing the Role of PIOs (Luzon)." Speakers include communications experts from the DILG, the LGA, and the Department of Health.

Board of Trustees and Members of Angat Pinas, Inc.

Pagbati sa mga itinalagang board members ng Angat Buhay na magsisilbing gabay at haligi ng organisasyon! Magsisilbing Chairperson ng Angat Buhay NGO si Atty. Leni Robredo; habang tatayo namang bilang President si Philip Francisco Dy. Si Raphael Martin Magno naman ang tatayong Executive Director ng organisasyon. Kabilang sa mga members of the board sina: Atty. Jose Christopher Belmonte; Joanne Baylon; Judith Azarcon-Marquez; Garrie David; Max Ventura; Rafael Lopa; at Raphael Martin Magno (Ex-officio). Tatayong Board Secretary si Atty Stella Pastores-Esquivas, at Board Treasurer naman si Camille Genuino.
