10 Vizcaya 'sitios' up for energization program

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, June 9 (PIA) - At least 10 'sitios' or sub-villages in this province are set to be energized this year through the Rural Electrification Program (REP).

Governor Carlos Padilla said these areas are Purok 1, 2 and 3 at barangay Nagsabaran in Diadi town; Sitio Kinacao (Purok 6) at barangay Baretbet in Bagabag town, Sitio Burayok at barangay Maasin in Quezon town, Purok 6 of barangay Sto Domingo Proper in Bambang town, Sitio Sulnod of barangay Pangawan in Kayapa town and sitios Patoktok, Legleg and Small Baliling, all of barangay Bantinan in Sta. Fe town.

"We are grateful for the National Electrification Administration (NEA) for considering our request for energization of our sitios in Nueva Vizcaya. We also assure our support for this undertaking," he said.

Padilla said the sitios or puroks will be energized by the NEA with P15 million fund which will be implemented by the Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (NUVELCO).

He added that the provincial government is elated with the development as Rural Electrification is one of its priority programs.#(MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)

Pagbati sa mga itinalagang board members ng Angat Buhay na magsisilbing gabay at haligi ng organisasyon! Magsisilbing Chairperson ng Angat Buhay NGO si Atty. Leni Robredo; habang tatayo namang bilang President si Philip Francisco Dy. Si Raphael Martin Magno naman ang tatayong Executive Director ng organisasyon. Kabilang sa mga members of the board sina: Atty. Jose Christopher Belmonte; Joanne Baylon; Judith Azarcon-Marquez; Garrie David; Max Ventura; Rafael Lopa; at Raphael Martin Magno (Ex-officio). Tatayong Board Secretary si Atty Stella Pastores-Esquivas, at Board Treasurer naman si Camille Genuino.
