Nathan's Thoughts: A Perfect Life

A PERFECT LIFE can't be found in wealth, because riches can be taken away. Not in popularity for popular people can be forgotten. Not in beauty for beauty is not permanent. Not in intelligence, because it doesn't make us a higher creation of God. Instead, a PERFECT LIFE can be found in contentment with the things we have, From the love we give and we get from our family, friends and from faith in God who gives us everything. Happy Family Day!

Natnat's Note [# 1]

Maybe you are wondering who or why 'Natnat'? This is the name of a stuff toy I gave to my someone, remember the story 'Crossroads'? So, what's 'Natnat's Note'? - It's simply a collection of quotable quotes. "All the waters in the ocean could never sink a ship, unless it gets inside; likewise all the pressures of life can never hurt you, unless you let it in."

Obama’s State of the Union speech

Text of President Barack Obama’s first State of the Union speech, as prepared for delivery on Wednesday and provided by the White House. ___ Madame Speaker, Vice President Biden, members of Congress, distinguished guests, and fellow Americans: Our Constitution declares that from time to time, the president shall give to Congress information about the state of our union. And they have done so in the midst of war and depression; at moments of great strife and great struggle. It’s tempting to look back on these moments and assume that our progress was inevitable, that America was always destined to succeed. But when the Union was turned back at Bull Run and the Allies first landed at Omaha Beach, victory was very much in doubt. When the market crashed on Black Tuesday and civil rights marchers were beaten on Bloody Sunday, the future was anything but certain. These were tim
